You can be seen for the shorter of 10 sessions or 30 calendar days without a prescription. Due to New York State's limited direct access law for physical therapists, to continue with services beyond this, a valid prescription written by a New York State physician is required. Out of state prescriptions are not valid in New York.
Physical therapists are not allowed to accept self payment for services that are covered by medicare insurance. Thus, as LV Physical Therapy, PLLC does not bill insurance and accepts only private-pay, we can not work with patients who have medicare insurance to rehab from an injury.
LV Physical Therapy, PLLC does not bill insurance and is not in-network with any insurance companies. If you have out-of-network benefits and would like to try to submit to your insurance company yourself, LV Physical Therapy, PLLC will provide you with a "superbill" with the necessary information on it per request.
